I have worked for over 25 years in the social service/mental health field. My experiences working with people has helped shape my personal values, perspectives of people and the support needed in the field of mental health. We all experience challenges that seem insurmountable. It takes time to think through, to balance emotions and accept the events. I believe each person has the capacity to learn new ways to empower themselves for better mental and physical health.
