Coming from a South Asian background and having been raised in Canada, Laiba is culturally aware of western and eastern values, beliefs, and ideologies, hence she remains unbiased and culturally sensitive to clients of diverse backgrounds. he uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy as her primary modality however she is also familiar with Gestalt and Humanistic techniques. Using a Client-Centred approach, Laiba helps her clients meet their goals and find solutions to maladaptive thinking patterns.
