Description
Currently treating clients virtually. John volunteered as a Physiotherapist for the Peterborough Junior Bees Hockey Club (1998-2001) and The Peterborough Junior Lakers (2001-2006). He also participated in the development and teaching of Physiotherapy courses during these periods and mentored fellow Physiotherapists during this time. In 2001, John entered into Partnership at Murphy, Scarsella & Associates Physiotherapy. In April 2016, John opened Murphy Therapeutic Group and continues to offer a broad range of Physiotherapy services with a special interest in John F. Barnes Myofascial Release.

Education
- John graduated from Queen’s University in 1995 with a Bachelor’s Honour Degree in Physiotherapy. John began post-graduate studies in Orthopaedic Manual & Manipulative Therapy upon graduation. In 1999, he successfully completed his examinations in Orthopaedic Manual & Manipulative Therapy. At that point, he became a Fellow of the Academy of Manipulative Therapists.

We are Open! For your safety, virtual Physiotherapy is still available. A multi-disciplinary wellness clinic taking pride in providing quality over quantity care to our patients. Our Physiotherapists are hands-on for minimum 30 minutes per client. Our Front Desk staff go over and above every day. All practitioners continually educate themselves to improve on their skills. You will find us to be a welcoming and caring environment where patients are our priority. The lighthearted atmosphere is contagious and will put you at ease.
