Description
Debita became licensed as a registered physiotherapist in 2001 and since has operated in Jamaica and Guyana. She holds a degree in physiotherapy and a post-graduate masters in Sport and Exercise Medicine, both from The University of The West Indies, Kingston, Jamaica. Debita has continued to enhance her knowledge and skills through post-graduate education; including courses in joint mobility, soft tissue techniques, K-taping, vestibular rehabilitation, and exercise therapy for orthopaedic and cardiopulmonary conditions.
